Madeenan ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website, developer APIs, dashboard, and playground (the "Service").
2. Data We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide and manage our developer API platform:
- Account Information: When you subscribe to a plan, we collect your email address and your application name.
- Usage Metrics: To monitor quota limits and prevent abuse, we log aggregate usage stats, including request timestamps, endpoint paths, and consumed request volumes.
- Billing Data: Transaction records, subscription plans, and billing status are tracked for subscription verification.
3. Model Provider Keys
Server-Side Key Handling:
Madeenan does not currently ask customers to save third-party LLM provider keys in the dashboard.
If you use Madeenan source blocks with your own model provider, keep those model credentials on your own backend. Do not place model provider keys in browser clients.
4. Payment Processor & Merchant of Record
Billing and subscription payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our third-party Merchant of Record (MoR).
We do not store or process credit/debit card numbers directly on our servers. Dodo Payments collects and handles payment information (card details, billing country, taxation details, name) in compliance with PCI-DSS compliance requirements and global tax directives. Their use of your data is governed by the Dodo Payments Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party API Data Transmission
When processing hosted chat queries, we compile retrieved Islamic texts as context boundaries and send the prompt payload to Madeenan's configured hosted model provider. If you use the Search API and call your own model provider, data transmitted to that provider is governed by your provider's respective API data policies.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We store your account and API configuration as long as your subscription is active or as required by applicable commercial and taxation regulations in India. You may request account deletion at any time by emailing us.
7. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical controls to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. This includes HTTPS encryption for all API traffic, database access control, and AES encryption for sensitive credentials.
