Quran verse

وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةً مِنْ قَرْيَتِكَ الَّتِي أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ١٣

We have destroyed many a town stronger than your own [Prophet]- the town which [chose to] expel you- and they had no one to help them
